Born and raised in Britanny, he is an experienced offshore sailor, known for his expertise in navigation and weather strategy. He has taken part in major ocean races such as the Transat en Double, Route du Rhum, and Transat Jacques Vabre. He joined Team Malizia as co-skipper and navigator for the Course des Caps 2025 and soon enough, The Ocean Race 2027. For now and during The Ocean Race Europe, Julien will be busy training racing onboard the ‘Actual’ Ultim ahead of the Transat Café de l’Or 2025 in the autumn, as well as ongoing work with the Gitana Ultim Team.
